Hiya, I’m Suzi! Before my newfound passion for healthy living, I was indulging in the standard western diet like the majority of people. You know the usual stuff…Very little fruits and vegetables and a whole lot of processed junk foods, sugary snacks, greasy fried foods, all washed down by fizzy drinks and excessive amounts of alcohol! Nice right?!
As you may tell I actually didn’t care much about health at all. But then I came to a place where I was feeling sick, tired and drained. Both my diet and lifestyle were putting stress on not just my body but my mental wellbeing as well. I was finding it difficult to shed weight, my skin was a mess, I had no energy and I had serious hormonal imbalance and suffered from anxiety and stress.
It was at thing stage that I decided enough is enough. I basically got sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. So I made the decision to start taking care of my body and I become more health conscious. I dedicated so much time to research and educate myself on ways to achieve and maintain true health and wellness.
It didn’t take me long to make the connection between food and the major role it plays in our lives. I discovered how our diet choices and the kind of lifestyle we choose to lead affect not just how we look but how we feel and the quality of the life we end up experiencing.
Once I had this realisation there was no going back for me. I started to implement new ways and formed habits that improved and enhanced my health to a higher level and the results I got were amazing! Which is why I decided to create this blog in the first place, so I can share with other women some of the life-changing information I have learned and experienced throughout my health journey.
