I’m a big advocate for losing weight the healthy (sane) way, without feeling restricted, deprived and hungry all the time.
And because of this, I encourage you to develop healthy lifestyle changes rather than following fad diets because diets simply don’t work. Not in the long run anyway.
I mean sure, you can lose weight following a calorie restrictive diet along with intense exercises but this just isn’t sustainable. And soon or later you’re more likely to lose motivation, quit exercising and return to your old ways of eating and put all the weight back on. And then you’re back to square one again (Sigh).
As I’ve mentioned many times, I’ve had my fair share of diet struggles in the past so I know how frustrating it can be, that’s why I encourage you to skip the nonsense and do what works, which is to quit dieting for good and develop healthy lifestyle changes instead.
Lifestyle changes produce long-term results. You lose the weight the healthy way AND you maintain it! Simple.
An important lifestyle habit to adopt to lose weight and get healthier is to eat a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet. This will ensure you’re eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and because fruit and veggies are rich in nutrients and detoxifying properties, they promote weight loss and maintain a lean, healthy body.
So please don’t waste your time (and money) on faddy weight loss gimmicks and instead invest in your health by adopting a whole food plant-based diet that centres around plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. Again, eating this way will ensure you lose weight the healthy way and keep it off long-term.
I know it sounds too simple and that’s the point! Losing weight and keeping it off is not complicated.

All the ingredients for this smoothie are high water content fruit and veggies so the smoothie is super cleansing and will help you not only shed the pounds but also to stay hydrated and nourished!
Fat Burning Green Smoothie
1 cup of kale
1 cup of spinach
3 Granny Smith apples
1 cup of pineapple
2 celery sticks
Juice of half a lemon
1 cup of water
In your high-speed blender add the cup of water with the kale and spinach and blend until smooth
Next, add the apples and celery and blend again
Lastly, add the pineapple and the juice of lemon and blend everything until smooth
Serve and enjoy!
