It’s green smoothie time!! And today’s star of the show is The Green Goddess Smoothie! It’s the ultra green, ultra cleansing and ultra delicious green smoothie recipe!
I absolutely LOVE this smoothie! So much so that I drank it nearly every day for about 5 months straight! Yes, I’m not kidding! I rotated the greens (meaning I would use a different type of leafy green from time to time) but apart from that, I used the exact same ingredients and I drank it day in day out for all those months.
One thing I noticed during those 5 months is people were always complimenting my skin and said I was glowing. I certainly noticed it too; my skin had a healthy glow to it that I hadn’t seen before.
Which makes perfect sense because the ingredients of this smoothie are all high in water content, and high-water content fruits and veggies are the ultimate skin food. They hydrate, detoxify and nourish your body and make you glow like a goddess!
During the 5 months while drinking this smoothie I also noticed I had way more energy than usual and the more I drank the smoothie the more I acquired a taste for healthy foods and started really enjoying fresh fruits and veggies.

1 cup of Kale
2 Celery sticks
4 Granny Smith Apples
Juice from 1 Lemon
1 inch of Ginger
1 Cup of Water
Blend the kale and celery with the water until smooth
Add the apples and ginger and blend again
Squeeze the juice of one lemon and blend everything until smooth
Serve & Enjoy!
