If you’re craving something sweet, creamy and healthy at the same time, then grab your blender and whip up this green smoothie! It’s chock full of vitamins and minerals, plus it’s filling and delicious.
Peaches are rich in fibre, and minerals potassium, magnesium and vitamins A and C. They help lower inflammation in the body and promote skin health. Pears contain high amounts of antioxidants and help aid natural weight loss.
The leafy green used for this smoothie is spinach, which is high in fibre, calcium, iron and rich in B vitamins as well as vitamin C and E, along with a host of other nutrients.
The liquid base used is unsweetened almond milk, which is free from all animal byproducts, making it free from hormones and antibiotics and other unhealthy stuff found in cow’s milk. It’s also rich in antioxidants, particularly vitamin E, which promotes radiant, glowing skin.
Peachy Pear Green Smoothie
1-2 cups of Spinach
4 frozen Bananas
1 cup of unsweetened Almond milk
Blend the frozen bananas with the almond milk until smooth
Add the spinach and blend again
Next, add the peach and pears and blend all together until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!
Note: If you find it challenging blending the frozen bananas you may add an extra 1/2 of a cup of almond milk to make the blending process easier. Also if you don’t have frozen bananas, you may use normal bananas. The smoothie may not turn out as creamy, but it will still taste delicious!!
